At The Abingdon Restaurant we are following the government guidance and going further to ensure the safety of all of our staff, customers and delivery drivers. We have completed a rigorous risk assessment and will be implementing the following procedures:
Social Distancing – Our booth seating complies very well with social distancing measures, due to the seat height between tables, separating groups from different households. We have installed further booth seats for this very purpose.
Sanitation – We have installed hand sanitiser bottles at the entrance & different areas throughout the restaurant along with signs encouraging everyone who enters the building to sanitise their hands. We routinely sanitise heavy use surfaces & sanitise all tables, chairs, salt & pepper after use. We are also using single use paper menus.
When possible we are rotering our staff on in teams to ensure they work consistently with the same group & take staff temperatures at the beginning of each shift.
We have extended our outdoor seating area & now have tables & chairs on both Abingdon Road & Abingdon Villas.
We do not currently require proof of vaccination status
